Take a technological step forward

Spring field work in the Rostov Region will begin a week earlier due to weather conditions. Don farmers will have to sow about 1.9 million hectares with spring crops, including 722 thousand hectares with grain and 1.1 million hectares with oilseeds. Winter crops were sown on an area of 2.9 million hectares for this year’s harvest. Updating the technical fleet with high-performance machines can help solve crop production problems in the shortest possible time.

The «Bizon» company offers agricultural enterprises not only to replace equipment that has exhausted its service life with new equipment, but also to take a technological step forward in order to speed up the pace of field work, reduce the cost of production and increase the profitability of production. The company’s general director Sergey Sukhovenko told the head of the Rostov Region, Yuri Slyusar, about the most promising models of agricultural machinery.

A significant place on the exhibition area was occupied by representatives of the «Lovol» family and the Bryansk Tractor Plant in the power range from 90 to 260 HP. General-purpose wheeled tractors are distinguished by high traction characteristics and are capable of carrying out energy-intensive agricultural operations on the cultivation of medium and heavy soils, moisture closing, disking, sowing, harvesting, and forage harvesting. The machines have a robust design and are equipped with unpretentious engines. By the way, according to the results of 2024, the «Bizon» company was recognized as the best provider of «Lovol» service in Russia.

The self-propelled sprayer «Stara Imperador 4000» always attracts the attention of farmers. The machine with a two-meter ground clearance is already in many farms in the south of the country. The sprayer has a central frame with independent lifting of the left and right parts of the boom. Stability on difficult terrain is provided by a pendulum suspension of a parallelogram design. The tank holds up to 4000 liters of working fluid. The cruise control mode allows you to set the required speed up to 35 km/h. As an alternative to the self-propelled sprayer, a trailed sprayer is offered — «Gvarta 5».

The products of the Altai machine-building plants «Almaz» also attracted the interest of farmers. From a wide range of tillage equipment, you can choose a machine for any agricultural task. Thus, the «Svarog» plow will help to deepen the arable horizon. «Chisel» will level the field surface and break up large clods with rollers. Its use will accumulate moisture, activate biological processes, improve the penetration of water and nutrients into the soil, and prevent the development of erosion.

The combine of the «Quiet Don» series (Gomselmash GS12A1 Pro) is aimed at working in a wide range of grain crop yields. The throughput is at least 12 kg/s. High performance is achieved by using a 330 HP engine, a two-drum threshing system with preliminary acceleration of grain feed, an increased separation area and cleaning systems. The combine is well suited for harvesting hard-to-thresh crops with high humidity.

In the context of rising prices for fuel, plant protection products and fertilizers, the use of precision farming systems can become the most effective and fastest tool for increasing the profitability of agriculture. Therefore, today, autopilots, course indicators, RTK base stations, yield mapping systems and material consumption management are in increasing demand. Digitalization is an important link in the technological chain, it helps to significantly increase the efficiency of production and the level of environmental friendliness of food.
