On August 17, at the agricultural enterprises «Zarya Dona» and «Krasnokutskoye», combine harvesters harvested the last of the 7,300 hectares allocated for grain crops. This year’s harvest campaign has become a real battle for the harvest. Due to precipitation, the harvest began later than usual and lasted a month and a half. And yet, in conditions where they had to race against the rain, the farms of the agrotechnological holding «Bizon» managed to show the best yields for all crops in the Oktyabrsky district, as well as set their own record for the quantity and quality of harvested grain in the entire history of the enterprises.
According to the results of Harvest 2023, LLC «Zarya Dona» became the leader in the Oktyabrsky district in terms of yield of early grain and leguminous crops — an average of 55.2 centners were threshed per hectare. The second place is occupied by LLC «Krasnokutskoye» — 54.0 c/ha.
At the same time, the average wheat yield in LLC «Zarya Dona» was 58.9 c/ha, and in LLC «Krasnokutskoye» — 54.2 c/ha (in the region — 45.3 c/ha).
Our agricultural enterprises became the best in the Oktyabrsky district in terms of spring barley yield — 51.5 c/ha in LLC «Krasnokutskoye» (in the region — 34.8 c/ha), as well as in pea yield — 41.5 c/ha in LLC «Zarya Dona» (in the region — 32.0 c/ha).
LLC «Krasnokutskoye» has already started harvesting flax — this crop occupies about 700 hectares. In the fields of the company’s agricultural enterprises, stubble cultivation is being completed, preparations for winter sowing are in full swing, and maintenance work is being carried out on sunflower crops.
