Repair shop for components and assemblies: overhaul of the 300th engine completed

Specialists from the repair shop of components and assemblies of the agrotechnological holding «Bizon» carried out a major overhaul of the 300th anniversary engine.

The engine from the grain truck arrived to our craftsmen in a very worn condition and had not been used for a long time. During the work to restore the technical life of the power unit to factory specifications, the cylinder block, crankshaft, fuel equipment and many other components were completed and restored. In total, the defect affected 152 positions.

After careful assembly, the engine underwent a four-hour hot run. During testing on the stand, its operating parameters were checked and the necessary adjustments were made. On September 6, the 300th overhauled engine was shipped to the customer.

The repair shop for components and assemblies has been operating at the agrotechnological holding «Bizon» since May 2019. Today it employs 11 people. The productivity of the site is 8 engines per month. The workshop mechanics return the power units of TMZ, YaMZ, MMZ, KAMAZ, Cummins, Mercedes, Deutz to working order. Depending on the complexity of the breakdown and general wear and tear, it takes up to two weeks to repair one engine.
