Our employers donated another 20 liters of blood for the medical aims

The agrotechnological holding «Bizon» hosted the sixth donor event, organized jointly with the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia and the blood transfusion station of the FMBA of Russia in Rostov-on-Don. 45 employees took part in the corporate Donor Day and helped prepare 20.2 liters of blood.

Volunteers donated 450 milliliters of blood for medical purposes, which, at the right moment, according to doctors, can be life-saving for someone. Almost all participants in the action already had donation experience. But there were also 2 newcomers who decided to commit a socially significant act for the first time. A total of 60 applications were submitted.

The holding’s employees have already donated blood in April and November 2022, as well as in April, July (plasmapheresis) and November 2023. In just six donor campaigns, we replenished the city’s blood bank by 103.8 liters, and the plasma bank by 11.2 liters.

Most volunteers joined the donor movement by participating in company events. Many of them now donate blood regularly.
