Harvest 2025. Harvesting has started at the farms of the agro-technological holding «Bizon»

On July 5, the harvesting of early grain crops began at the agricultural enterprises «Zarya Dona» and «Krasnokutskoye» (Oktyabrsky district of the Rostov region). During the harvest, it is necessary to collect barley, wheat, peas and flax grain on an area of more than 6 thousand hectares.

For the second year in a row, agricultural crops in the Rostov region suffer from severe spring frosts and soil drought. And when it was time to harvest, it rained, preventing the harvest from starting. Unfavorable weather conditions also affected the fields of our agricultural enterprises. Harvesting began with barley and wheat, and will be completed with flax.

There are 13 combines working in the fields. Stubble cultivation is carried out «one after another» immediately behind the harvesting machines. The wide-grip disc harrows are used to incorporate crop residues and conserve moisture. The harvesting work is planned to be completed within 16 days.
