Employees of the holding Bizon celebrated Donor Day with blood donation

On April 21, the agrotechnological holding Bizon for the first time hosted the Day of the Donor, organized jointly with the Union of Machine Builders of Russia within the framework of the state program «Blood Service». The All-Russian donor movement was supported by 50 employees. They came to the mobile transfusion station and donated 22,5 liters of blood for medical purposes.

«Donation is a very important and necessary thing," says Sergey Sukhovenko, the head of the Bizon agrotechnological holding. — How can we help? The smallest thing is to give a part of yourself. In addition, the blood in the body is quickly restored. I don’t like to say big words — it’s just the way it’s supposed to be.

Most of the volunteers donated for the first time. Each of them shared 450 milliliters of their blood and this, doctors say, is often enough to save one human life.

In total, 112 applications were submitted for participation in the donor action from employees who are ready to help people.
